A superb sterling silver cast top vinaigrette, 1822 Birmingham, with maker's mark for Edwin James, rectangular, and finely crafted with a cast rocaille frame to the lid, enclosing an engine turned panel with a vacant cartouche upon a matted, ground, the body of conforming engine turned design, the gilt washed interior, with a delicately pierced and engraved grille, hallmarked twice to the interior, length 3.5 cm, width 2.5 cm
