A French black marble mantle clock garniture, circa 1870, maker's mark of Marti et Cie, Medaille de bronze, with a drum head housing an enamelled marble dial with exposed brocot, escapement marked Jullot a Meaux, raised on volutes flanking a glazed panel, showing the Ellicott-type pendulum, above a moulded plinth base, inset with malachite tablets and with incised gilt decoration throughout, the pair of tazze conforming, with key, height 41 cm, width 42.5 cm, depth 14.5 cm
