An unusual red-ground 'prunus' bowl Qing dynasty, 19th century, the steeply rounded sides with flared rim springing from a short foot, decorated on the exterior predominantly in tones of grey and pink with a blossoming prunus tree growing beside lingzhi fungus shoots in reserve on the peach-bloom coloured ground, the white glazed interior painted with three detached blossoms, the base inscribed in blue enamel with a four character hall mark Yang he tang zhi, 14.4 cm diameter
