A good early/mid-20th century Maori figure carved lamp base, the stylised figure with red painted open mouth and extended tongue, linial and notched carved highlights, paua inset eyes, raised on a geometric diamond carved block base with stepped plinth, vintage stylised Maori decorated shade in koru type design, the base with original ebonised finish of height 520. Height overall 730m. Provenance: Douglas Wright Estate.
