A framed French painted silk and ivory fan, late 18th century, the silk leaf with three painted reserves, the central one with a champetre, the other two scenes depicting musical cherubs. The remainder of the fan is decorated with panels of painted flowering vines, classical scenes and sequins. Mounted in a decorative frame., 43 cm high, 74 cm wide.
