Rare early Victorian Staffordshire pottery portrait jug of the Duke of Wellington portrait jug of the Duke of Wellington dating from the 1850s, probably to commemorate his death in 1852. The features are particularly well painted and the cobalt blue of the tunic has the depth and vibrancy associated with Staffordshire production of this period. Condition: good, some wear to paint, some minor wear height 17.75 cm
