Harry Cavanough's Newtown Cap, blue velvet, wire embroidered 'N.D.R.L.F.C/ (N in Shield)/ 50 C.M' on front, and with tassle on top, made by J. Pearson of Sydney, endorsed 'H. Cavanough' on label. '50 C.M' probably refers to 50 club matches (counting 1sts and 2nds matches), together with a RP team postcard by Melba Studios, endorsed 'Newtown 1sts, 1918, Runners-Up in City Cup', with most of the players wearing honour caps. (Harry Cavanough played 31 games for Newtown 1921-24; 49 games for Souths 1925-28 (all Premiership years); and 12 interstate games for NSW 1926-28).
