Clement Ader (1841-1925, French engineer, remembered for his pioneering work on aviation. On 9 Oct. 1890 he succeeded in the first self-propelled flight in history, 13 years before the Wright Brothers, nice signature on 'L'Aviation Militaire' note paper.
