A late 19th century French mantle clock in the rococo taste, by Japy Freres, the circular porcelain dial painted with blue birds and Roman numerals surmounted by an urn-shaped finial, striking on a bell, the whole raised on a breakfront base on square knopped feet in gilt bronze, complete with glass dome and ebonised stand. Width 22 cm. Depth 12 cm. Height 31 cm
