A fine Empire Revival mahogany and upholstered library armchair, French, Circa 1880, the curved back with moulded top rail decorated with gilt metal caduceus mounts above a crimson silk upholstered back with gold medallion motifs, with padded arms on curved supports mounted with gilt bronze dolphin, a cushion seat and plain curved front rail, raised on square tapering legs terminating in gilt paw feet.
