Ferdinand Preiss (1882-1943), 'Golfer', German, first half 20th century, cast and carved in patinated bronze and ivory in the form of a female golfer, with her club raised at the start of a left handed swing and her face downcast, signed in the cast bronze foot 'F. Preiss', supported on a green onyx base. 22.5 cm high.
