Victorian Scottish sterling silver footed tankard, hallmarked, Edinburgh, 1843, W.C, of facetted form, engraved with a image of girl on a swing and boy with stick and hoop, flanking engraved moors head crest with wording 'Qui Conducit // from Mama to A.B' surrounded by c-sroll and acanthus motifs, raised on four ornate feet and slight s-scroll handle, total weight 158gm note: This piece would have belonged to the Borthwick family of Scotland, who have a well known history stretching back to the 15th century.
