A Hofner Naugahyde 176 White Vinyl electric guitar, 1965, German made, white faux reptile skin vinyl front, black faux reptile skin back, gloss black mahogany neck, bound Indian rosewood fingerboard, rectangular mother-of-pearl inlays, plastic 'Hofner' motif to headstock, single-ply black pickguard, three humbucking pickups, three tone control sliders, three pickup on/off switches, five-way 'Treble-o-Bass' pickup selector switch, floating tremolo, chrome plated bridge with adjustable perspex saddles, black Tolex rectangular hard case, acquired on 9 May 1993, One of Reg Monbassa's [Mental As Anything] favourite guitars.'
