A fine Directoire ormolu bronze figural clock, early 19th century, with mark of possibly 'De Thillay' to mechanism, the beautifully cast figure of an angel accompanied by a dog, on a bronze rocky outcrop enclosing the wreathed brushed dial with Roman numerals, the rectangular base with an applied trophy with a central butterfly, a stiff leaf border, the base with foliate bracket feet, height 44 cm, width 30 cm, depth 12 cm
