A Chinese bronze 'Hu' shaped vase, Qing dynasty (1644-1911), in an archaistic form, with two animal headed handles and a band of inter-locked dragon pattern on the neck. A band of wave pattern decoration on the lower part of the body, two-character mark to the base, covered with red patina, 36.1 cm high. Provenance: A private Melbourne collection
