The card holder depicting theme of the 'Foxes wedding'. Tobacco box with inset silver panel featuring engraved and inlaid decoration of carp swimming upstream. Also including a silver and mixed metal box. Signed with inscription - Kiyotomo's Grandson Hanzan. Featuring takaramono (treasured objects) associated with Shichi-fuku-jin, or seven deities of Luck - Daikoku's mallet, hat of invisibility, jar of coins and the flaming jewel of Buddhist law. Shakudo and gold addition to top of birds and flora.
