A 19th century Fijian ula drisia throwing club, the spherical root head with near cylindrical shaft, the grip finely carved with lineal zig-zag bands, displaying good old wear and dark patina, split to shaft, 10 notch cut lines to head of shaft indicating possible 'kill' marks, the base of the head with an encircling band of small indented marks. Good weight. Length 4150.
