A cased Victorian sterling silver gilt claret jug and goblets, 1868 London, with maker's marks for Stephen Smith, a jug with a waisted base and high loop handles and a goblet pair exquisitely engraved with fern fronds, a presentation piece to Surgeon Major Robert Lewer of the 9th Queen's Royal Lancers, Kabul 1880, and bearing the Lancers' crest with the Crown of Queen Adelaide; hallmarked to neck and rims and in original case, silver weight 1150gr height 35 cm
