An uncommon 19th century Scottish snuff mull, made from a highland cattle horn, mounted with a highly chased and engraved silver (unmarked but tested) domed hinged lid, a decorative body mount and a thistle shaped terminal cap all set with various citrine or amethyst style 'cairngorms'. Suspended on a decorative link silver chain. Length 28 cm
