An early Victorian timber and papier mache wine table, 19th century, of delicate Georgian proportions with a dished tilt top decorated with a peacock in an architectural Italian garden enclosed by flowers to the rim, in deep muted tones with gilt highlights, above a japanned slender baluster stem to a scrolled tripod base with oriental style squared whorl feet. Height 72 cm. Diameter 46 cm
