A French giltwood Vernis Martin vitrine, first half 20th century, the demi-lune vitrine in muted gold tones having a part gilt bronze gallery above a glazed door and side panels opening to two glass shelves and a mirrored back, with painted trailing foliage decoration and gilt bronze trims throughout, the lower panels with a romantic couple and pastoral scenes, and raised on curvaceous legs.
