A fine Royal Doulton scenic plaque by J.H.plant, early 20th century, John Hugh plant active from 1902-1920, decorated in enamels with a scene of Sesto Calende in Lombardy, Northern Italy, signed Jh plant lower right, with stamp of Royal Doulton England verso, plaque supported at an angle with an acanthus moulded vase plant was a Coalport ceramic artist who later worked at Wedgwood and Royal Doulton. Height 16 cm. Width 23 cm. Depth 7.5 cm
