Philippe, circa 1930, the gilt bronze figure modelled as a classically draped dancing female with a floral wreath to her hair, holding a wooden flute to her lips and balancing on her right foot, her left leg outstretched, raised on a naturalistically moulded base with a stepped rectangular rouge marble plinth.
