A rare painted and incised brown and red lacquer Earcup, Western Han (206BCE-9CE), Thinly constructed and finely decorated on the interior, with painted lacquer and incised needle-point geometric designs around the inner border, the slightly recessed base and on the 'Ears', standing on a flat base, 14.2 cm long, 11 cm wide.
