Richard Shields personal display collection of cabochons, the 67 various shaped cabochons including nephrite, opal, agate, tiger's eye, chrysoprase, etc., all displayed in a craftsman made various New Zealand woods box with alternating timber panelled hinged lid. Note: this display was exhibited by Richard at the 'Auckland Geological & Lapidary Society' in 1965 and 1966, where it won 1st prize, a copy of certificates available.
