Kerr, Sydney, made from one of the salvaged Mexican 8 real coins-Un-named as issued both mounted together with a thin brass bar, string, and a brass pin for suspension 1677 Able Seaman Arthur James Hooper is confirmed as being aboard HMAS Sydney at the time of the action against the Emden on 9/11/14 He was also aboard for the taking of the German New Guinea on 11/9/14 joined R.A.N. 12/6/12 after prior service with the Royal Navy and discharged from HMAS Penguin 8/12/18
