Description:
14ct yellow gold, seed pearl, diamond and enamel pendant and necklet c.1900 by Whiteside and Blank Jewellers. The round brilliant cut diamond is surrounded by blue enamel with a white scalloped border, decorated with scrolling leaves. Suspended from this is an enamel bell cap with chain tassels and seed pearls attached. The trace link chain is set with eight seed pearls, in a cross over style. Stamped with makers mark, an arrow and crescent moon. Whiteside and Blank was an American jewellery firm operating out of Newark in the early 20th century. They were known for their finely enamelled jewellery, watches and watch accessories. They were also manufacturers for Tiffany & Co. New York. The Company became Henry Blank & Co. In 1917. Their makers mark is an arrow and crescent moon
