Description:
Large Chinese green glazed dragon vase, with raised slip decoration. Showing six reign characters in relief to the shoulder area. 45.5 cm high. Label for Spink & Sons 10 King Street St James London, label reads to base - This vase was made during the period of Emperor Jia Jing between 1521 - 1567 and was brought from Spink & Sons in 1973, from the collection of Avery Brundage who supervised the moving of Chiang Kai Shek from china to Formosa.
