A Victorian kingwood Louis XV bureau de dame, probably a London cabinet maker, the top with brass gallery, above a glazed door flanked by small drawers, below ormolu banding, three frieze drawers, on scrolled supports with ormolu caryatids. Provenance: From Max Kerry Melbourne some forty years ago. 118 cm wide, 58 cm high, 132 cm.
