Important antique Japanese hand scroll a chapter of the 'Lotus Sutra', lavishly decorated and written in gold on indigo-dyed paper, Shogun Tokugawa mon mounts Edo Period (1615-1868). 4.2 metres long x 276 mm wide. Provenance: Private Collection Sydney. The present owner purchased this scroll and another in Italy 1972.
