The Sevres collection is supported by European and English porcelain, including Royal Worcester, Dresden vases and figures and rare porcelain clocks.

There are other 19th century timepieces – both French and English – to whet auction goer appetites.

These include exceptional bronze and marble timepieces, Boulle and English bracket clocks, rare carriage clocks and a superb tall mahogany long case example.

The range of antique French bronze figures and groups by important sculptors will set the auction room humming – while an exceptional collection of Japanese antique bronze vases and figures and rare incense burner have to be seen to be believed.

Furniture lovers won’t miss out with a fine array of French antique furniture on offer including ormolu mounted Boulle, gilt mirrors, marquetry inlaid commodes, tables, cabinets and an exceptional three-door vitrine from which to choose.

One of the more appealing pieces is an 18th century drop front secretaire by Vassou JME.

There also is a fine collection of English George III mahogany including an outstanding sideboard, card tables and kettle stands.

Chinese furniture includes original hand-painted scrolls and panels and a range of jade and ivory.

Works by various Australian artists are featured in the auction – including Pro Hart, J.A. Turner, Albert Namatjira, David Boyd and John Glover.
