A superb mid-Victorian burr walnut twin pedestal Dickens desk, the back section having a shelf with brass pierced gallery flanked by pillars each with three drawers, above a leather inset hinged adjustable writing slope, below three frieze drawers with satinwood stringing on end pedestals, each having three graduated drawers, raised on a plinth. Height 110 cm. Width 160 cm. Depth 68 cm.
