Hungary: Hungarian Flag, in silk, bearing at centre the Kossuth coat-of-arms without the Crown, given to the Commandant of the Olympic Village to replace the vandalised flag (which had the Stalinist Rakosi coat-of-arms at centre). Flag apparently made by Hungarian citizens, athletes and supporters in Melbourne, overall 148 x 100 cm. Unique - a beautiful flag in superb condition. Ex Philip Miskin, the Commandant of the Olympic Village.
