*** 19th Century, Qing Dynasty: Very large landscape painting of a mansion protected by an enormous rock and small hills, with its own boat ramp (lower left). Surrounded by old trees and bushes, it was secluded, and enjoyed by scholars from verandahs around tea houses on lower levels. Further into background, another mansion, on cliff edge is covered in mist and fluffy clouds. Seeming to float in the heavens, painted in ink and muted soft green, brown and grey. Superb 130 x 210 cm. ***
*** 19th Century China, Qing Dynasty: Large tall cylindrical bronze bell topped by a Heavenly Lion, as a handle. The sides divided into four vertical sections with a top layer of studs in four neat rows, above calligraphy poem also repeated. Reads: 'Ji Mien Wei Ru Shang rien mien yi, Zhi Sheng, Zhu x ing wu Chang' (Keep silence out of this world, you will be happy - out of the way is your hope, everything is not permanent). Height: 90 cm, diameter: 40 cm. Very good condition ***
*** 19th Century, Qing Dynasty: Extra large painting of the God Cheng Huang dressed in a scholar's hat with wings on sides, red gown embroidered with crane (longevity) and dragon among clouds, holding his sword vertically upwards in both hands, long sideburns, moustache and goatee beard, benign countenance, surrounded by young male holding a plant, a warrior and a monster holding a banner with words: 'Qing Shen Chen Haung' (The God Chen Huang is present). Behind him and above clouds are two other Gods.… ***
*** Pale greenish white nephrite jade, two section belt buckle, 2.5 cm x 11.5 cm x 4.5 cm, 18/19th Cent. Qinq Dynasty. With a dragon head forming the hook and a deeply undercut 'chilong' surrounded by branches of 'lingzhi' fungus which is repeated on the opposite section with a loop. The reverse of both sections carved with a circular button ***

*** White jade hollowed cylinder, shaped as a scarab using the rusty coloured skin of jade on top. Markings of eyes and wing. Period: Song Period (960-1290) China. Dimensions: length 6 cm, diameter 5 cm ***
*** Nephrite green/grey standing figure of a boy with hands clasped in front, dressed in long robe. Long hair caught in two knobs on head. Base with hole for stand. Jade speckled with black. Period: Qing Dynasty 18th century (1644-1911) China. Dimensions: height 9.3 cm, width 4 cm, depth 3 cm ***

*** Green and brown nephrite jade, carving of a young seated woman, 7.5 cm x 6 cm x 5 cm, 19th Cent. Qing Dynasty. The woman is in a long robe with a hood over her head. She holds a peach on her lap. ***
