The lock marked with Lv addresses in Paris and London, number 047635, side leather straps, brass studs and leather trim marked Louis Vuitton, wooden slats to top, front and rear with marked studs, interior lined with cream canvas, the lid with Louis Vuitton ribbons and one tray, underside has four metal wheels. Height 73 cm width 110 cm depth 60.5 cm ***
*** A rare quality New Zealand carved and inlaid walking stick by Anton Teutenberg, the carved handle as the head of a tattooed Maori chief, pendant and adornment to his right ear, pronounced scrolls below the head, a shaped engraved band named ‘K. McKenzie’ joins the shaft with fine linial full length bands of diamond, arrowhead and small square decoration in various New Zealand timbers, original tapered cylindrical brass capped and pinned end. Length 89.8 cm.… ***

The lock marked with Louis Vuitton patent details, the escutcheon numbered 034693, the single handle to the hinged lid faulted, painted with original owner’s name and initials. The interior of the lid with silk lining and Louis Vuitton ribbon trellis, affixed Louis Vuitton label and no. 183564.… ***

Oblong shape, bound with beech strapping, monogram printed canvas covered, the edges with monogrammed leather clashing and with brass caps, bindings, lock furniture and studs, all with L.V. stamps. The lock with impressed no. 049511. The interior with linen lining, the lid lined with Louis Vuitton ribbon trellis, original label and printed no. 741850. Missing tray. Leather handles to either end, original steel roller casters, owner’s initials E.M.L.… ***
*** An early 20th century whalebone carved walking stick, the sperm whale tooth handle of ball form on a faceted support, the shaft carved with spiral, fine notch and diamond bands with baleen fine dot inlays to the narrow bands, plain silver collar mount. Length 83 cm ***
*** A rare and exceptional late Victorian period malacca cane parasol with mechanical stained ivory donkey’s head handle and silver collar engraved Lady Wood ,43 Princes Gate and hallmarked London 1900. The head with glass eyes is activated by a button, the mouth opens to reveal teeth and tongue, the ears become raised, the malacca cane shaft with original parasol. A rare Victorian parasol in original condition. Length 91 cm One tooth missing. ***
*** A fine quality 19th century Continental tapestry purse ornately engraved and pierced gilt brass basket base set with four circular painted miniatures of classical buildings and supporting long tassel. ***
*** A New Zealand Fire Brigade helmet, all brass with leather insert and chin strap, c.1920’s. Merriweather pattern with embossed dragons to the comb and helmet plate incorporating a trophy group of fireman’s tools. This helmet belonged to the vendor’s grandfather, F.C. Robinson who was stationed at Palmerston North. ***

Comprising jars and brushes, the tops and backs of which are enamelled in striking black and white concentric rondels, or shapes conforming to the objects including hair brushes. The central mirror lifts to reveal a selection of implements, some with ivory handles. The silver with a .950 French fineness mark along with London import marks for 1922 and the mark of George Stockwell for Stockwell & Co., the Finsbury Street importers.… ***
