*** Locomotive builders plate, 'Australian Standard Garratt Locomotive/ G-11 /Commonwealth Land Transport Board ', 48 x 33 cm. [Locomotive was built at the Islington Railway Workshops in South Australia to the design of the Commonwealth Land Transport Board as a wartime measure during World War 2. G-11 entered service with Queensland Railways in December 1943. They were not a success in Queensland and G-11 was sold to the Tasmanian Railways in June, 1949] ***

*** Nsw. Large wooden facsimiles of locomotive wheels ( like the Arhs logo), for display purposes. 129 cm in diameter & 6.5 cm thick, varnished. Two wheels for C30 loco 3708 and two for 3709. Spectacular! Very good condition. (4) ***
