The profuse use of decorative native timbers was common throughout the colonial period, evidencing a willing acceptance of the new timbers' characteristics in cabinetmaking. Raised on bun feet and with original pediment, this wardrobe is a highly accomplished example of colonial cabinetmaking.… ***
