*** Australian Mining: An Embroidered Coat of Arms c1855. A magnificent needlepoint embroidery on silk. Our research indicates that this embroidery was most likely done by Lewis Steffanoni (1835-1880) who migrated from England and reached Sydney in November 1852. Prior to migrating to Australia, had run a business at Holborn, catering to the upper and middle classes with gilding and coats of arms in gold bullion embroidery.… ***
*** Nineteenth Century Indoor/Carpet Bowls, display case showing six pairs of bowls & large white 'jack'. [Decorative ceramic carpet bowls were advertised in the 1840s. A form of parlour game which used ceramic bowls known in Scotland as 'Piggies' was extremely popular between 1860 and 1880]. ***
*** Subzero's Toohey's Promotional Rug, which was specially made for Subzero to wear at any of the promotional work that Toohey's required him to do, be it in the Crown Casino, race tracks that were also sponsored by Toohey's for example the Mildura Cup in 2000 etc ***
*** 1980 Bulgarian Torch Runner's Medal, in bronze, 70mm diameter, in original presentation case. Fine ***
