A superb London made George II Bracket clock in an ebonised 'Plain Inverted Bell Top case' with carry handle and rear viewing glazed back door. The brass break arch dial signed John Monkhouse with mock pendulum and fine gilt spandrels, engraved and filled Roman numerals to the silvered chapter ring, and the strike / silent and rise 'n fall dials above and early serpentine influenced blued steel hands.
