A very fine shibayama gold lacquer mokko-gata Tsuba, Meiji Period (1868-1912). Signed Nemoto-zo. Inlaid in mother of pearl, coral, ivory and shakudo on a nashiji and kir-kane ground and decorated in takamakie and hiramakie, with silver and cloissone rim.
